Andrew Toups
Graduate Student Intern
Hello there! I’m a graduate student at Adams State University, pursuing my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Alongside my studies, I work in human services in Colorado Springs, CO, where I’ve had the privilege of connecting with individuals from all walks of life. This work has deepened my understanding of empathy, resilience, and the importance of meeting people where they are.
Insurances I Accept:
Aetna, CHP+, Cigna, Medicaid, and Private Pay.
How I Work:
I’m passionate about getting to know people, their stories, their strengths, and what makes them unique. I believe that every individual is an expert in their own life, and my role as a counselor is to provide a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their experiences and take steps toward meaningful growth. As I continue my counseling journey, I’m excited to integrate my academic knowledge with real-world experience to offer thoughtful, compassionate care. I’m thrilled to be part of this internship and look forward to contributing to a space that values connection, healing, and growth.
