Amy Gimlin
Graduate Student Intern
I am a counselor in training earning my masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Colorado Christian University. I use a variety of therapeutic modalities to help you reach your goals and will tailor my approach to your unique situation. I resonate with modalities that offer practical tools to help you feel better— such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, and solution-focused techniques. However, I believe healing occurs in the context of relationships where we feel safe, seen, and understood. I have worked in a variety of fields over the course of my life, including working as a chemist, an esthetician, and a tutor. I was raised in Pueblo, where I still live. In my free time, I enjoy walking anywhere in nature, reading, and spending time with my friends and family.
Insurances I Accept:
Aetna, CHP+, Cigna, Medicaid, and Private Pay
