Lara Gribble

Clinician

Licensed Social Worker

When your child is struggling with their behavior, it can feel like you've tried everything. Maybe they're refusing to go to school, getting into trouble, or becoming increasingly angry and defiant. Maybe they've been involved with social services or probation. You're exhausted, worried about their future, and unsure what else you can do.

And if you're the kid or teenager everyone is concerned about, maybe you're feeling misunderstood. You might not even know why you react the way you do. Sometimes it might feel easier to get angry or push people away than risk getting hurt, even when it leaves you feeling more alone.

With Lara, you won't be judged or defined by your behavior, your past, or your mistakes. You'll have someone who is comfortable with complicated situations and wants to understand what's underneath the anger, defiance, or withdrawal. You'll have support in understanding your reactions, finding new ways to handle difficult situations, and building relationships that feel better for you.

And if talking about feelings isn't your thing, that's okay. Games, creative activities, and other approaches can help you work through things that are hard to put into words.

Whether you're a parent who's running out of ideas or a young person who feels like nothing ever seems to work out, things don't have to keep going this way. You can find healthier ways to cope, build stronger relationships, and find a better way forward.

How I Work:

I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) working toward my LCSW licensure. I earned my Master of Social Work degree in 2024 from CSU-Pueblo, and I have over 10 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and families across residential treatment, therapeutic mentoring, and higher education. My approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, relational, and strengths-based. I integrate evidence-based interventions such as CBT, DBT-informed skills, solution-focused therapy, and Gottman’s Emotion Coaching, along with creative and reflective approaches to meet each client’s unique needs.

Many of the struggles we face are not signs that something is wrong with us, but signals that there are experiences that deserve understanding. I see you as a whole person whose strengths, struggles, identity, and relationships can be approached with compassion, curiosity, and respect. My role is to work alongside you as we explore the thoughts, emotions, relationships, and life experiences that may be contributing to current challenges.

In sessions, we will look for patterns, build on strengths, and develop practical tools that support growth and healing at a pace that feels supportive. You can expect a thoughtful, collaborative, and nonjudgmental environment where you are encouraged to reflect, ask questions, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationships. My hope is that therapy helps you not only feel better but also move through life with greater clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, contributing to creative community projects, watching anime, and enjoying musical theater. I have also contributed to two levee murals in Pueblo, which reflects my appreciation for creativity, community, and connection.
