Leah Ward
Clinician
Licensed Professional Counselor Canidate
I am an LPCC in Colorado and graduated from Adams State University with an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in August 2024. I am passionate about working with young adults, neurodivergent individuals, people dealing with chronic illness or disabilities, members of the LGBTQ+ community, people with current or past experiences of religious trauma or spiritual abuse, and many others from all walks of life! My goal is to help you become your best authentic self through exploring your experiences and emotions, strengthening connection (to yourself, your body, and others!), unmasking, deconstructing societal narratives, and developing tailored strategies that work for your unique brain/body. I take a person-centered approach and use a variety of interventions including elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), narrative therapy, somatic techniques, and mindfulness-based strategies. I also love to incorporate your interests and passions as much as possible to keep therapy engaging and try to fit coping strategies seamlessly into your existing routines. I am an artist and nature-lover, and I also spend a lot of time reading, playing video games, or watching TV with my dog and two cats. I've always had a passion for learning new things and exploring new perspectives, which is part of why I love being a therapist and getting to learn about other people's interests and experiences!
Insurances I Accept:
