Lindsey Dunbar

Clinician

Licensed Professional Counselor

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who graduated with my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from University of Phoenix. I also hold a Master’s Degree in Public Health Sciences and Worksite Wellness. I began working as a health educator for the Pueblo Department of Public Health and Environment (PDPHE) on a grant encompassed around mental health and suicide prevention. Through this work and personal experiences, I discovered my calling to become a counselor and started working on my second master’s degree. I was a mentor for several months through Miscarriage Matters, Inc., helping women across the country who have suffered through their own struggles process, cope, and grieve their pregnancy and/or infant losses. Having gone through five consecutive miscarriages myself, this topic became very near and dear to my heart. I work from a person-centered, humanistic, and strengths-based approach, while combining aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Brain Synchronization Therapy (BST), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Narrative Therapy, and Mindfulness Practice. In my spare time, I love spending time with my husband and husky and especially loves all things Disney-related, hiking, running, biking, yoga, being out in nature, playing piano, and traveling!

Insurances I Accept:

Aetna, BCBS, CHP+, Cigna, Kaiser, Medicaid, Private Pay, and United
