Graduate Student Intern
I am a graduate student intern currently pursuing a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Adams State University and am seeking LPCC licensure post-graduation. The therapeutic modalities I resonate with are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Narrative Therapy; utilizing a strength-based, person-centered approach. In my free time, I enjoy gardening, hiking, cooking, playing board games, meditating, reading, and spending time with my four dachshunds.
Insurances I Accept:
Aetna, CHP+, Cigna, Medicaid, and Private Pay.
How I Work:
I have always had a passion for helping others and hearing the stories that shape their unique, individual experiences. As your therapist, I hope to create a safe space for you to tell your stories, explore your lived experience, and lean into the narrative that reflects your true values, strengths, and potential. Together, we will challenge the thoughts that no longer serve you and I will aim to provide unconditional support as you reconnect with your authentic self. I foster a collaborative approach, acknowledging the diverse needs of each client and believe you are the expert of your experience. I am full of curiosity and excitement to walk alongside you as you begin your healing journey.
